Comments : Montandon has described this species from three specimens, two of them looking moreless like the third one in this page, and the third he described as var. viridis which is all over green like the pronotum. Looking at the two specimens from the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris, hereabove, it seems that the color of the forewings may vary from ochraceous with green tinge on the margins to completely violaceous, and that this variety is of no specific value.
